We pride ourselves on using fresh, local ingredients sourced here in Utah. During peak growing seasons our menu is up to 85-90% Utah based. Supporting MOZZ supports Utah's finest, hard-working farmers and artisans.
Our dough is made by using our 17 year old starter culture and letting it ripen for 3 days for an outside crust and crumb. This is a traditional sourdough method also known as natural leavening. Our dough, therefore, contains no commercial yeasts. Just water, local flour and salt.
Also noteworthy and a point of pride for us, we make our mozzarella in house, every day. We purchase milk curds from a local artisan, Gold Creek Farms in Kamas UT, and hand stretch it daily. Its why we are called MOZZ!
